Matt Roberts was selected Tuesday to serve out the term of the late Clerk-Treasurer Virgil Mabrey. Roberts, 39, and his wife have lived in Pendleton for 12 years. He serves on the Board of Zoning Appeals, Pendleton Planning Commission, utility rate board and Economic Development Commission. Roberts said his goal in 2019 is to maintain the functions of the office before running for the office next year.
